Did you know that Rotary International receives inquiries from approximately 800-1,000 prospective members worldwide each week? RI gathers their information, forwards it to Rotary districts, and asks the districts to match the potential members with clubs. But only a few clubs used these leads to increase their membership in 2015-16. These prospective members are an untapped resource that can help clubs reach their membership goals this year.

With Membership Development being a key goal of Rotary, every club and district can learn how to use member leads; download Connect to Membership Leadsand hand it out at your next training.

Then make sure your club is Creating a Positive Experience for Prospective Members. Your membership training should cover how to make lasting great impressions on potential members, whether or not they join Rotary.

Use the new Club Flexibility page of Rotary.org to prepare your club if you want to implement the changes made possible by recent Council decisions. Use theClub Flexibility FAQ to find answers to common questions about the changes.

Finally, be proud! Display your Proud Member window sticker in your home, at work, or on your car. Visit Rotary’s Shop to order your stickers, available in English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
