Rotary Clubs across the globe have been guided by Rotary International to get more of its membership and to start using and maximizing the potential of Rotary.org

There is a wealth of information contained within this website that spans everything from documents and literature on committees, avenues of service, funding available from TRF, stories from Rotarians around the world, updates and changes in policy and procedures from RI, as well as, discussion groups on various topics of concern around Rotary. Signing in to My Rotary gives you a customized experience and easier access to tools and information that are relevant to you

Specifically, RI, as well as the District, now requires Clubs to use two primary features of the website — Rotary Club Central & Rotary Showcase — to input and update its primary goals and objectives each year as it relates to key areas, such as, membership, public relations, foundation contributions and projects, as well as, profile the projects and activities being conducted by your club. These features simultaneously allows for RI and the District to monitor each Clubs activities as well as for all Clubs to demonstrate such to each other.

As such, Clubs should be encouraging its membership, and, in particular, its present and incoming chairpersons, to register on the Rotary.org website as soon as possible. The aim here is to first familiarize yourselves with the available information regarding Club membership, foundation giving, activities, projects, etc. at the beginning and during the course of the year and then of course to encourage the general membership to access it themselves on a regular basis.
