By sponsoring an Interact club, your club invested in young leaders in your community. You helped them take action for positive change and discover the power of Rotary. Before the end of the Rotary year, there are two simple steps you can take to help Interactors continue their Rotary journeys. By fulfilling this important responsibility, you can strengthen the connections between Interact and Rotary and leave a positive legacy in your club.

1. REPORT YOUR INTERACT ADVISERS FOR 2016-17

Help RI send Interact updates to the right person. Report the Rotarian adviser or liaison in your club who supports each Interact club. Or tell RI about a school adviser, parent volunteer, or local leader who serves as your Interact club’s contact. Report each club’s adviser by 30 June so Interactors won’t miss out on any of our 2016-17 communications.

Use RI's online update form to report your 2016-17 Interact advisers today.

2. CONNECT INTERACTORS WITH ROTARACT CLUBS

How many of your Interact club members will turn 18 this year? How will they stay connected to Rotary as they travel, work, attend university, or begin their careers? Inspire them to continue their Rotary journey: Connect them with a university or community based Rotaract club.

Not sure if there’s a Rotaract club in your area? Check Rotary.org for a custom report of all Rotaract clubs in your district. Here’s how.

Are graduating Interactors moving out of your district? Ask your district Rotaract chair and district Rotaract representative to connect these young leaders with Rotaract clubs in their new communities. District Rotaract chairs and representatives can access the Worldwide Rotaract Directory, which includes contact information for all clubs in the global community of Rotaract.

By completing these two important steps to keep your Interact members connected to Rotary’s global community of service.
